Manipulation in the book Much Ado About Nothing

How does manipulation have a large impact in this book?

Manipulation is a very large impacting theme in this book, as all of the characters spend most of their time in this book doing nothing but manipulating each other. The sad part is that dramatic irony is a dominant factor in this book, so as none of the characters knew of the acts of manipulation... except for the ones manipulating of course. *evil grin*

Some of the MAIN manipulating characters-

- Don John

Quotes of manipulation-

2. “Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction.”
Criss Jami

3. "If you dare not trust that you see, confess not that you know. If you follow me, I will show you enough; and when you have seen more and heard more, proceed accordingly." ~Don John

This a pro example of Don John manipulating Claudio in the book Much Ado About Nothing,

4. In the series The Lunar Chronicals

The cinder series is completely based on manipulation. It shows that no matter how true something may seem, you never really know of how someone is really treating you. Lunars in the Cinder series change things by appearing as something they're not to make the world bend in their direction.

Humans do the same, which is the creation of manipulation. The same goes for Much Ado About nothing, for the story would have no plot without manipulation and one without a plot shall not be one at all.

People manipulate all the time, and we can apply this to our life to know everyone isn't how they seem. Words can be dressed in a way you do not know, for manipulation can be all around us. If you look at the world from a perspective as such, you'll go far.
