Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984. He is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He is best known for being one of five co-founders of the social networking site Facebook. Zuckerberg is the chairman and chief executive of Facebook, Inc. His personal wealth is estimated to be $9.4 billion as of 2012.
Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 and died on October 5, 2011. He was an American entrepreneur and is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. He was widely recognized as a pioneer of the personal computer uprising and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields. Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.
Tim Berners-Lee
Tim Berners-Lee was born on 8 June 1955. He is a British computer scientist, best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web. He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989. Tim is also a KBE (knight of the British empire) and uses the name sir.
Charles Babbage
Charles Babbage was born on 26 December 1791 and died on 18 October 1871. He was an English mathematician, philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer who had the original idea for a programmable computer. Considered a "father of the computer", Babbage is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer that eventually led to more complex designs.
Sir Clive Sinclair
Sir Clive Sinclair was born on 30 July 1940. He is an English entrepreneur and inventor, most commonly known for his work in consumer electronics in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He invented the Sinclair Research C5 is a battery electric vehicle and was launched by Sinclair Vehicles Ltd in the United Kingdom on 10 January 1985. The vehicle is a battery-assisted tricycle steered by a handlebar beneath the driver's knees. After spending several years as assistant editor of Practical Wireless and Instrument Practice, Sinclair founded Sinclair Radionics in 1961, where he produced the first slim-line electronic pocket calculator in 1972
Bill Gates
Bill Gates also known as William Henry "Bill" Gates III was born on October 28, 1955. He is an American business magnate and philanthropist. Gates is the former chief executive and current chairman of Microsoft, the world’s largest personal-computer software company, which he co-founded with Paul Allen. He is consistently ranked among the world's wealthiest people and in 2011 he was the wealthiest American. During his career at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of CEO and chief software architect, and remains the largest individual shareholder, with 6.4 percent of the common stock. He has also authored and co-authored several books.
Jonathan Ive
Jonathan Ive was born on 27 February 1967. He is an English designer and the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple Inc. He also provides leadership and direction for Human Interface (HI) software teams across the company. He is the lead designer of many of Apple's products, including the MacBook Pro, iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini.
