Safety and Security
The safety of students and staff is of utmost importance; therefore, the district continues to collaborate with the police, fire, and other local first responders to ensure all of our additional safety and security protocols are up to date.
The Safety Committee is in the process of finalizing our CLASSROOM ACTION GUIDE for district-wide distribution. This guide is user-friendly, color-coded, and will ensure that common terminology is consistent district and county-wide.
The Board of Education would like to recognize individuals of the district 33 community - which includes all staff members, students, bus drivers, parents/guardians, and guardians - for actions that build a positive culture and climate in District 33.
This "shout-out" will take place at Board meetings as an agenda item called "Board Salute" and become part of the official minutes.
If you know someone who deserves a "Board Salute," please complete this form.

Building Administrators
We are so proud of our principals and assistant principals for their hard work and collaboration in planning Institute Day activities. The result was an engaging, relevant, and meaningful experience for teachers. Our building administration met numerous times to plan, revise and perfect the institute day activities to ensure high-quality professional development for our valued staff. Our middle school administrators organized a special ceremony designed to emphasize the influence of our elementary teachers on students by incorporating a group of middle school students into the day. Each student wrote a personal thank you to the elementary teacher who made a significant and positive impact on their education and presented them with a rose. We are grateful and proud of our teachers and administrators for their time, commitment, and tireless dedication to our staff, students, and community.
