A Message from Mr. Roth
Families!
I just wanted to send an end of the year thank you to everyone! I am so impressed with all of your children this semester as they have demonstrated tremendous growth academically and behaviorally. I look forward to the next semester and all the great things your children will do as they continue to grow throughout the school year.
Please have a safe and happy break! Do something fun as a family and simply enjoy the time off together. School resumes Wednesday January 4th at the usual time. We will have an early release on Wednesday as well, 1:55pm
Take care!

- The cut-off time to pull students out early is 2:35PM (1:35PM on Weds) If you arrive after this time to sign your child out, you will have to wait until the dismissal bell rings.
- We understand life happens and there are times when you may be late after school to pick up your child. Please be sure to communicate with the front office if this should occur. Otherwise, we expect your child to be picked up on time as school ends promptly @ 2:55 PM (1:55PM on Weds) (11:55AM on half days)
What Does It Mean To Be A Title I School?
Title I is the largest federal aid program for public schools. Schools can be designated as “Title I” if certain criteria are met. Title I is the federal government’s commitment to closing the achievement gap between low-income and moderate to high income students. These funds are used to help all students meet academic standards. Click the links below to learn more!

How We Implement Title Funds at Harris
My name is Jordyn Rucker, one of the resource teachers at Harris Elementary. Currently, the district provides Harris with 2.5 resource teachers, but our students' needs are better met with 3 full time teachers. As a resource teacher, I have the ability to provide pull-out services as well as push-in services within the school day. My goal this year, as the resource teacher, is to collaborate with all educators to ensure that students are getting appropriate support in the least restrictive environment. By collaborating with all educators, and students we are able to achieve student success within the general education classroom at Harris Elementary. Additionally, as one of Harris's resource teachers, I want to promote self advocacy, collaboration among students, as well as taking responsibility for one's education.
