***Important Reminders***

Athletic Events & Safety

Safety at all NEISD and campus athletic events is of utmost importance.

Please read an important letter to all parents and Guardians below from Mr. Kelly Parker, NEISD Executive Director of Athletics.

Closed Campus During Lunch Periods

Roosevelt High School, along with other NEISD campuses, are closed campuses, including during all lunch periods. Students are not allowed to leave the campus for lunch at area restaurants and return to campus. Doing so may result in disciplinary consequences. All students at Roosevelt High School may receive a free breakfast and a free lunch in our school cafeteria.

Student Sign-Out

When signing students out for appointments or for the day, parents and/or guardians are required to come into our Attendance Office to sign students out. Students are not allowed to just walk outside or meet parents in the car. Our attendance clerks will then call your student(s) out of class. Thank you for working with us to ensure your student(s) are properly signed out and accounted for.

Reminder- NO Outside Food Deliveries

Students are not allowed to have food deliveries to Roosevelt campus at any time (from Uber Eats, grub hub, restaurants, etc). Thank you for your understanding.

Student ID Initiative

Our campus initiative of Student IDs for each student is successfully progressing. Student IDs and lanyards were issued during student picture days.

Students are expected to have their school ID on them at all times. Students can wear the lanyard with the ID or have it clipped to their backpack.

School IDs are required for entrance onto our school campus after 9:20am, into our school library, and to leave for CTEC or other campus programs including Co-Op.

Students who still need an ID card can obtain one free of charge in the AP Office before school 8:00am-8:40am or during their lunch period. Replacement IDs are also available should an ID card become lost.

Let's continue to support this initiative to support campus safety!

December STAAR EOC Results

Starting Tuesday, January 24, 2023, students who participated in the December 2022 STAAR EOC assessments will have access to December STAAR EOC results. Parents may log into NEISD’s Skyward Family Access to retrieve student results using the “Texas Assessments” tab. The “Texas Assessments” tab will take parents directly to their students’ results.

If parents cannot access results through the “Texas Assessments” tab, please visit www.texasassessment.gov through the “Family Portal.” Parents will need a student’s first name, TSDS number, and date of birth to access student scores. Should you need your child’s TSDS number, contact your campus administration.
