Teacher Appreciation Week is April 26th-30th and we are SO THANKFUL for our amazing teachers and staff at Art City Elementary! We have organized a special week for students and parents to say "THANK YOU" to our teachers who have triumphed over a very difficult school year. We are providing simple lunches, gift bags, and treat bars throughout the week. OUR TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE THE BEST!!

Emergency Preparedness: It is my greatest hope that we never have a true emergency situation at school. However, it is extremely important to be prepared for a variety of situations. As a school we work very hard to ensure student safety. We regularly review safety protocols. Student/parent reunification is an area I would like you to particularly be aware of and informed of the procedure. Teacher Requests: I am not taking teacher requests for next school year. However, if you have educational concerns regarding your child, please feel free to call me at school to discuss these concerns. I prefer an in person visit or phone call as these discussions are very important. There is movement and change in each grade level, so specific teacher requesting is not feasible.
