Pannell Featured in New Book
Local author Bill Norvell has released his new book, Inspiration From Anytown, USA. Norvell chose 30 Florence residents, 15 women and 15 men, and wrote about events in their lives. Norvell writes that "the purpose (of the book) is to inspire, encourage, and help others through the shared life experiences of these individuals."
One of the 30 people chosen is Mars Hill Bible School teacher, coach and radio announcer, Ronnie Pannell. Pannell has been the "Voice of the Panthers" since 1989. He continues to be a classroom teacher and his coaching duties are football and golf. Pannell says that being included in the book " has been overwhelming and I'm proud to be associated with the wonderful people in the book, especially Bill Norvell."
The book is on sale in Florence at the Mars Hill Bookstore, Printers and Stationers, Inc (PSI) and the Off Campus Bookstore at UNA.
There will be another book signing opportunity during the "First Friday" event on November 6th in front of PSI downtown Florence from 4:00 to 7:00.
