Let's get this Program Started!
Pre-Summer School Work Day!
Deane's Brain
This will be the year, we will dig deep to find our grit. Together, we will make this the best Summer School program, yet!
What I AM hearing all over the district..
"How can we make this work? What needs to happen next?
How can I help you?
Together, WE CAN...
Remember your Work Day is on the Honor System.
You may count time spent a the Curriculum Meeting and Shopping for Supplies.
BR will be open after PD on June 3 & 4th to prepare classrooms.
Contacting parents and verifying transportation.
You may begin calling parents on May 29. Remember to make at least 2-3 attempts at a voice contact with parents before sending emails. Transportation will be listed in SIS as "3. Alternative Transportation" for your review until June 3 at which point it will become primary. Email me if you have questions about this.
When you reach out to parents, make sure to verify Car Rider, Walker, Bus Rider, Child Care, and verify their home address. Explain the bus company will be contacting them after June 3 and they will also find bus routes on our Ray-Pec website. Remind parents bus numbers and bus stops do change for the Summer School Routes.
Our number one priority is to keep students safe this summer. A huge Thank you and Shout Out to everyone who works diligently before the start of Summer School to make sure we verify transportation plans for each of our students.

What to expect, STEAM (1-5) It is an integrated curriculum incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math. There is time set aside for reading and Math review, and then Student Questioning drives the curriculum about the topic.
