Jacob Shaffer

Just a dude

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. -Dr. Suess

My brain

Although I use both the left and right side of my brain depending on the thought process necessary, I am most comfortable while using the right side of my brain. That means that I like more spontaneity, expression, nurturing, social and interpersonal activity, imagination and creativity, artistry, holistic, abstract and conceptual thinking. However, sometimes I need more structure, control, clarity, focus, direction, responsibility, organization, planning, mathematical and analytical skills, listening skills, rational and logical thinking.

Decision making

When making decisions I tend to follow the conceptual style. People with that decision making style are very insightful and enthusiastic, smoothes over difficulties and are well liked, completes tasks by using intuition, are motivated by recognition from others and wants independence and enjoy achieving personal goals. Others sometimes perceive my decision making as too idealistic, slow and indecisive or difficult to control. The best organizational fit for my type of decision making is one that allows loose, decentralized settings; informal and simple organization.

my personality type

I have an orange personality type. I am fun loving, charming, adventurous, and witty. When I communicate I am loud, fast paced, and brief. It frustrates me when people are slow paced, formal and take steps.
