Happy Monday!
Last Week was a crazy one for me, so I'm in hopes this one will be calmer.
I can't believe it is already February! The year is slipping by so quickly. That means 2 months left before testing. Instructional time is very important. Please, make sure you are on target with objectives you need to teach. If you are behind, you will need to pick up the pace and make sure students are prepared. Also, grade 3 and up, please cover test taking strategies. You would be surprised what a difference it makes. I am very curious where classes are in their curriculum - what have students mastered & what needs to be covered and what is your plan to make sure your students are prepared. So, don't be surprised if I ask to meet with you or your grade level to discuss these things with you.
Wednesday PLC meeting will be all staff again in the computer lab. You will need a laptop again. Thursday is our faculty meeting and Friday we will be working on SLO's together in the computer lab. K-2, please bring your PTR data for the year. Grades 3 - 6 please bring I-Ready data. Grades 3-6 I will speak to you this week about another possible assessment for SLO's.
FYI - I-Ready toolbox will expire on April 8th. Please print everything you need before then!
Snow Make-Up Days are 2/15, 3/31, and 4/1. Mark it on your calendar and in your newsletters.
Sincerely,
Michelle
