Before Graduation
Decorating Caps and Gowns
Seniors should not add decorations to their gown or sash. Other than a cap, gown and sash, students are limited to Heritage-issued honor cords, stoles or sashes.
Tickets UPDATE (6/11/2021; Updates are italicized)
Tickets have been available since May 16th through Ticket Spicket and can be acquired online at www.ticketspicket.com or via the TicketSpicket app. Tickets are limited to 5 per graduate. You will be required to create an account, and search 'Heritage' for your school. The event will be listed as Graduation and tickets will be available. You will be required to use your student's ID number for reserving of tickets, which are limited to 5 per student.
If you have not reserved your initial 5 tickets by 11:59 PM on Friday, June 11th, you will need to email Mr. Totaro to reserve your tickets. Additional tickets, not reserved by families, will be available the morning of Saturday, June 12, also through Ticket Spicket. Please use the code: "SENIORS2021." You will be limited to 2 additional tickets. We have moved up the date to get a more accurate count of guests on the day of Graduation, so we may plan accordingly and to allow you plenty of time to secure your additional tickets and plan for the day. Graduation Rehearsal/Item Drop Off
If Seniors have things to return to Heritage, including Chromebooks, they should bring them on June 14th to Graduation Rehearsal where there will be staff to receive their things.
Seniors do not need to wear their caps and gowns to the Rehearsal. You will also be picking up senior t shirts and sashes at the Rehearsal.
Graduation 2021
Weather Plan
If there are passing storms and lightning occurs, we will follow LCPS procedures for outdoor events. All guests will be asked to return (or stay in their vehicles), Seniors will go into the Main Gym, and the Ceremony would be delayed 30 minutes from the time of the strike.
Arrival and Gate Opening (Updated 6/11/2021; updates in italics)
Graduation will begin at approximately 7 pm (barring inclement weather). Seniors should plan to arrive by 5:30 pm at the latest for lineup and preparation for commencement. Gates for ticketed spectators will open starting at 6 pm, and no earlier. Except for handicapped seating or other special circumstances, seats will no longer be assigned ahead of time. Bleacher seating will not be distanced; however, seating at field level will be available.
Parking
Seniors should plan to arrive early and park in the Heritage Field Lot and proceed to the Senior Lineup area, located on the Baseball Field. Seniors should arrive by 5:30 and arrive wearing cap, sash, gown (zipped up) and honor cords.
Parking will be available in multiple locations, Heritage Main Lot, Heritage Field Parking and Satellite Lot (JL Simpson MS). Shuttles will be available to bring people from the satellite lots to Heritage HS.
Graduation attendees will park in the Heritage Main Lot, and will overflow into the Heritage Field Lot. Please be advised that there will be construction underway at Heritage and that areas of the school will be closed to any parking or traffic. We ask that you plan ahead and prepare enough time to allow you to safely park and arrive to your seats.
Outside Food and Drink (Added 6/11/2021)

Seating will be located both at field level and in the home and away side bleachers, and standing room will be available at the far end of the stadium. No viewers will be allowed along the fence line in front of the bleachers on either side of the stadium. If handicap seating is required, please be sure to contact us. . Except for handicapped seating or other special circumstances, seats will no longer be assigned ahead of time. Bleacher seating will not be distanced; however, seating at field level will be available.

We will still be including the following aspects of the Ceremony:
- Procession of Graduates
- National Anthem with Junior Honor Guard
- Graduation Address: Ms. Beth Robinson, former Principal of Harper Park Middle School and current Assistant Director of Special Education for Loudoun County Public Schools
- Valedictorian's Address

LCPS Account Access
For any student who graduates from LCPS (not enrolled for the next school year or not attending summer school), the student’s account will have the following access:
- Student will have full access to content and applications through June 30th
- Student will have limited access to only download content from July 1 through July 31st using Google Takeout (https://takeout.google.com/)
- Student will have no access beginning August 1 and accounts will be placed in archive status through September 30th. DDI staff can access data until it is permanently removed on Oct 1
- Student accounts will be deleted on October 1st
- PLEASE NOTE: All content will be deleted when this occurs
