Senior Decision Day Luncheon

Attention Seniors,

Just a reminder, on Thursday, June 1, we will be hosting a Senior Decision Day luncheon (provided by the PFA) on the turf field during blocks 3/4. Seniors should wear post secondary clothing (college/university/ military/ workforce).

Please reach out with any questions.

Pre-order bouquets, Class t-shirts, and other favors for graduation from the Commencement Group. Items will also be available on-site on graduation day.

SENIORS! FINAL TRANSCRIPT FOR COLLEGE!

In order to send your FINAL transcript. Please complete the following:


Log in to your Naviance account

Click "Colleges" Tab at the top of your screen

Select "Colleges I'm applying to"

You will then need to update each college decision by clicking EDIT- select decision from the dropdown menu.


FINAL STEP! Under "College I'm Attending"- select the school you will be going to in the fall. This is where your FINAL TRANSCRIPT will be sent.

Midd South Movie Night

Join the Senior Council as they host Middletown South's first movie night! The movie will be playing from 5:30-8:00 PM on Thursday June 1st on the Football Field! We will be showing Jaws! Admission is free! For entry school IDs must be shown and guests will not be permitted. You are free to bring blankets, pillows, and beach towels. You may bring snacks and drinks and they will also be available for purchase at the event. Snacks and drinks however, can not be on the turf, but can be consumed in the stands. Lastly, backpacks and bags will not be permitted. We look forward to seeing you!

Senior Council

Meeting Thursday June 1 during Block 3/4 and after school in Room 234. If you have any questions or can not make it please email Mr. Reynolds.

Student Council

There will be a Student Council meeting in Room 128 during Block 3 on Thursday 6/1. Please see Mrs. Carey with any questions.

AP Economics

There is a short meeting during Block 3 on Monday, June 5 in Room 231 to discuss the AP summer program and information for next school year. All students registered for AP Economics should plan to attend.

Taking AP Biology Next Year?

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for anyone registered to take AP Biology next year on Tuesday, 6/6 during Block 4B in Room 237. Please make every effort to attend or see Ms. Boyce in Room 237.

TUTU TROT 5K HAPPENING AT SOUTH

Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer will once again be holding their Tutu Trot 5K Run/Walk at HS South on Sunday, June 11th at 9 am. South students, family, and friends are encouraged to sign up and be a part of something awesome that morning! You can register or donate at RunSignup.com/ILTutuTrot and use code MTPS to save $5 on each 5K registration.

Finals Schedule

Any senior with a Y1 average of a 90 or above in a course is exempt from the respective final exam.


Any student, regardless of grade level or Y1 percentile grade, who sat for the AP exam, is exempt from the respective course final exam.


Only full year courses have the option for test exemption.

Caught Being Kind:

The Caught Being Kind campaign is South’s school-wide initiative to recognize those who share our culture of kindness. The Diversity Club, in coordination with building administration, would like to celebrate our kind students and staff. Help make history at South by filling out a FORM when you see an act of kindness!

Little Eagles Registration is Open for the 2023-2024 School Year.

Registration must be mailed or dropped off to MHSS Main Office. A copy of Immunization records must be attached upon registering.

Science Tutoring is now Available!

Science Tutoring will be available in room 247 during block 4A and room 252 during block 4B according to the following schedule. The members of Science National Honor Society will be available to help tutor students who would like to attend.


Mondays- Anatomy

Tuesdays- Chemistry

Wednesdays- Biology

Thursdays- Physics

Fridays- Environmental sciences


Freshman that would like tutoring should go directly to the tutoring location. An email will be sent to your advisory teacher to let them know you are there.

Electronic Reporting Form for Harassment, Intimidation or Bullying:

The link below will access a form to be used by students and parents to report any incident of harassment, intimidation, or bullying to the Anti Bullying Specialist and the Building Principal. If you would like to remain anonymous do not fill in the contact information. Please note: There is no guarantee that a submitted form will be read immediately. In the event that you or the student is in imminent danger, please contact the school or your local police department immediately.
