Grade level contest: Grab your suitcase and passport and travel forward in Faith, Hope, and Love as we are reminded by our theme for the year. Each student will be given a passport inviting them to explore what SPB has to offer. Students can earn stamps as they visit different exhibits to learn more about the exciting learning happening in our classrooms, opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, and check out the Jansky Learning Center and broadcast booth. Awesome prizes await grade levels who have the greatest participation! See you on March 21 to begin your journey!

Playground/Lunchroom Supervision-Primary Grades
The links to sign up for playground/lunchroom supervision for parents/guardians of students in grades Kindergarten-2 for the remainder of the school year are now live!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. Second Grade Parents/Guardians ROCK! There is only ONE TIME SLOT LEFT DURING MARCH! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 2, Grade 1, or Kindergarten.
Our sincere thanks to the moms and dads from grade 3 who volunteered during the month of February: Mr. Reza Shahbazi, Mrs. Kelly Kunchik, Mrs. Jackie Slife, Mrs. Heather DiIulio, Mrs. Janelle Washington, Mrs. Natalie Treibatch, Mr. Henry Williams, Mr. Nick Caserio, Mr. Ryan Quinn, Mrs. Emily Quinn, Mrs. Allison Spinos, Mrs. Blythe Horvath, Ms. Deborah Zeigler, Dr. Jennifer Ko, Mrs. Ersuela Marquart, and Mrs. Deb Koeberer.

Other Parish News
Ash Wednesday is March 6: Have you chosen the time you’ll begin your Lent with us? Masses are at 6:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 7:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. service.
Filling the Church for Tetelestai: Speaking of the Lenten season, plan on attending the production of the musical play “Tetelestai.” (This is the Greek word that means, “It is Finished,” the last words of Christ on the cross.) Please invite everyone to be part of this ecumenical passion play/musical, sharing the last week of Christ’s life and his resurrection from the dead. Open to all ages, Friday, March 1 & Saturday, March 2 at 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, March 3 there is a matinee at 2:00 p.m. The production takes place in church around the sanctuary (and not on the altar – so this weekend of Masses you will see the stage in the sanctuary). The production is free, but there will be a free-will offering taken for the costs of the musical.
