Tuscany Heights Elementary
168th Lighthouse School in the Nation, Building Leaders
Message from Administration
Welcome Back!!! We were excited to see the students this morning!
I wanted to share some cute Kinder pictures from Mrs. Cervenka's class. This class won a field trip for reaching the school wide behavior goal of receiving the most GOLDEN STRIPES the first semester which means above and beyond behavior throughout the school. We attended Morgan's Wonderland, and we had a great time! See pictures below.
Also, I have a few clinic updates that I wanted to share with you.
We have good news that Nurse Kulyas will be returning this week! Below is her message that I failed to put in the eblast before the break. My apologies! She wanted you all to know that she missed everyone.
"Tuscany Heights’ Parents,
I am writing to you to let you know that if your kids mentioned that they have not seen me on campus or if your emails have gone unanswered, is because I was involved in a vehicle accident on the 25th of February. The injuries that I sustained on this accident only allowed me to access email today. I still need a couple more weeks before I am able to return to Tuscany Heights. In the meantime, a sub is covering my duties at the clinic.
Here is a little story to share: I was at my doctor’s office the other day and a parent came in with two kids (keeping privacy), one of the children recognized me as his nurse and came to talk to me. After asking why I was there, he was very sweet and said “Well, I hope that you get better and return soon. We all miss you very much. You are a very good nurse and you also love us”.
Please let your children know that I am thinking of them and missing seeing them in the hallways or the clinic. Please rest assure that I will be returning soon, with full ability to do my job and with the same love, care and respect for each and every one of your children.
“I’LL BE BACK!!!”
Daniela Kulyas, BSN RN
Unfortunately, our clinic assistant, Mrs. Honsberger resigned the Friday before Spring Break due to her family relocating. Here is a message from her:
“It is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to Tuscany Heights, as my family and I are relocating to California. I have truly enjoyed being a part of such an amazing school and team. I will greatly miss all of T.H.E students as well as T.H.E staff. We are excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I wish everyone the best!”
- Melissa Honsberger
We wanted to communicate with you all, and we appreciate your understanding through these transitions. Help us welcome Nurse Kulyas back after her recovery.
