We invite you to join us at the Science Festival, tomorrow, February 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe. The theme this year is Where the STEM gets its Roots! Approximately 50 schools will have hands-on activities set up for your children to try. Be sure to find the Ride table and say HELLO to our Challengers and teachers.

Sally K. Ride Book Drive

We are now collecting books to build our classroom libraries. If you have books that your kids have out grown or no longer read, please consider donating them to the school. Single books or boxes of books are welcome! You may drop off at front office for your convenience.

PTO Needs Your Help!!

PTO still needs your help collecting photos for the 2018-2019 Yearbook. If you snapped a few pics at any Ride event - Ride's Reading Adventure, Red Ribbon Week, class field trips, or any special events in the classroom, please send them their way.

Email your high resolution photos to: ridepto@gmail.com

Ride Nite - Mia's Table

Our next Ride Nite is scheduled for Wednesday, February 13th from 5-8 at Mia's Table. What a great fundraiser for our school! What's better than enjoying a hot meal around Mia's Table with a portion of the proceeds going to your child's school.

Did You Know?

Being in school every day means your child won't miss out on learning. Try to schedule appointments and family trips outside of school hours. If he or she asks to stay home, "just because," remind them of what they'll miss, such as their reading group or PE class. Explain that they can be absent only if they are sick or if there's a family emergency.
