We are doing something different at Tarvin for our Holiday parties. On Dec. 16th, we will host a school-wide party. Students will go through 3 stations with their grade level. One station is a movie, one is arts, crafts, and games and one is bounce houses. Room moms have been planning the arts, crafts, and games station and PTA is supplying the bounce houses. National Family Code Night

Tarvin Elementary invites you to participate in our National Family Code Night, a free live-stream event for our K-5 families. This is a fun learning experience in which children do their first hour of coding with a parent or other partner. No experience needed! The event has been held in thousands of schools nationwide, and is now provided to our school via a live stream. Participants will be entered into a drawing for a license to Dash’s Neighborhood, a virtual robotics playground, from Wonder Workshop. So, save the date and get ready for a community learning experience the whole family will value and enjoy.

Sharksburger Spirit Night

Join us for Sharksburger on Dec. 8th and part of the proceeds will go to Tarvin PTA.

Hour of Code in the Library

Ms. Liptak is requesting volunteers in the library for their “Hour of Code” event throughout December. You don't have to be good at coding to assist. We just need more adults to help students through the process.

Times needed are:

8:55-9:45-2nd Grade

12:05-12:55-1st Grade

1-1:55-Kinder
