The PTA is looking for volunteers! Don't think we are just a bunch of parents who aren’t working and that we have tons of extra time on our hands. We don’t!!!! Most of us work, and obviously, we are all doing some SERIOUS multi-tasking as we continue to support Remote and Hybrid learning for our own kids! We volunteer for the PTA because we care about our kids, we care about the school they attend and the community, and we support the people who educate them. Take Tara Gilad: PTA Board Chair, mother of 2, and owner/founder of the national franchise Vitality Bowl. If you would like to learn more about our PTA, the people who volunteer for it, and what we do for Alamo School, please join us for our General Association Meeting- March 25, 4:00 pm. You can also contact Nicole Rocca, mom of 3, Pediatric Nurse AND PTA Board Parliamentarian for more information: email@example.com We hope to be fully back in school in the Fall and have so many fun things we want to do for our school but we cannot do it without volunteers!!!!

In this interactive session, we will go over setting effective and realistic goals, ensuring motivation and self-efficacy, and making the entire process pleasant for both you and your child.
Our guest speaker, Dr. Eran Magen, Ph.D. teaches clinicians, educators, and parents how to form stronger, more supportive relationships in their professional and personal lives. Eran received his Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University and served as the research director for the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Pennsylvania.
