Artists and Authors Fair
Oh, what fun the Artists and Author's Fair was this morning! We had planned on showcasing our work for just an hour, but the kids were enjoying it so much, we ended up spending an extra hour showing off. Thank you all for once again making their homework so meaningful. The props and give-aways that the kids brought were far better than what we had envisioned. The books are now theirs to keep.
OUTDOOR OLYMPICS!
This Wednesday, we’ll participate in the All School Olympics. Opening ceremonies begin at 1pm and we’ll compete until the end of the day. The kids’ got their continent assignment last week and should all know what color to wear. If not, please ask! It is a non-uniform day and looks like it will be warm. Please have your child dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Feel free to join the fun!
8th grade buddies!
Wasn't MMO precious?! The ideas these kids came up with for their buddies were really so heartfelt and loving. Last week, the kindergartners each received a very special Bible from their 8th grade buddies. This is a project the kids started working on in September and just completed last week. I hope it will find a special place in your child's home library.
