Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of September 6
Fall Sports
Any recap of weekly sporting events should begin with a victory over Spring-Ford so let's start with volleyball. Coach Highley and our ladies found themselves down two sets to zero and also down 11-6 in the fifth and final set before pulling out the 15-12 victory! It was a great display of resilience and teamwork in the victory and a great way to start the season for the volleyball team. Boys' Soccer, under the guidance of Coach Allen, was also very impressive in their first non league game of the year with a 4-1 victory over West Chester East highlighted by a hat trick for Javier Schorle. A big congratulations to Coach Hamm and the field hockey team as they won their opener over Haverford 3-0 giving Coach Hamm her first of many victories to come here at PV. Kiki Rotay led the way with a hat trick and the defense was also very stout in victory. Boys' Golf, led by Coach Hunsicker, was also victorious over Methacton last week. This was the first time PV defeated Methacton on their course in over twelve years as Ryan Horenci, Chris Cowgill, Andrew Cowgill, Ayush Patel, and Jack Colyer all contributed to the 191-193 win. Please check out each sport in the newsletter below.
I have also received a number of questions regarding the season passes. If you purchased a season pass, there is no reason for you to access tickets via the links I will be sharing within this newsletter and on our website. You can just attend the event, and show your season pass. If you do not have a season pass, please purchase the tickets online by using the event specific links listed below. These links will appear in this weekly newsletter, on the website, and will also be sent out by our coaches. I hope to see you soon at one of our athletic events.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.
Athletic Director
