How did it start?
Describe when and why did World War 2 start...
- World war 2 started because Germany kept taking over land and the other countries didn't like it. The United States told Germany that they would give them "these" pieces of land but after that they HAVE to stop taking over land. Germany still wanted more land and the United Stated wouldn't let them have anymore... so they started World War 2.
Identify who ended World War II...
- The Treaty of Versailles ended the World War. "The start of the peace conference that was held in the Palace of Versailles in France in the summer of 1919."
- "Those who sign the treaty will sign the death sentence of many millions of German men, women, and children."
Describe how many people were in World War 2...
- About 17 million soldiers died. There were more than 100 million soldiers in World War 2. An even bigger number of men, women, and children also died from bombs, sickness, or from not eating any food.
- One group called the Axis, was made of 8 countries: Germany, Italy, Japan, etc.
- The other group called the Allies, was made up of 30 countries: Britain, China, Soviet Nation, United States, etc.

- The Nazi leader hoped to gain Poland trying not to stir up a general European war, but he miscalculated badly, within two days of the attack. Two countries: France and Great Britain declared war or Germany marking the beginning of World War 2.
