Welcome to another exciting week in 4th grade. We are only 10 days away from Spring Break! AR/IXL goals are ending soon. Please make sure these are a focus this week. Students should be reading nightly! We can do it! Please see the notes below for the week and as always if you have a questions, please feel free to contact me! Have a wonderful week!

Congratulations

A huge congratulations to our Science Olympiad Teams from Erwin Elementary. We had several students from our class to compete on Saturday and they all did an outstanding job! Way to go! We are so proud of you!

Curriculum Happenings!

Math
We are continuing to review fractions daily. We are also reviewing objectives previously taught. Last week students were introduced to line plots. This week we will be making line plots and analyzing the data. It is very important that IXL is utilized!

Reading
This week we are working on Poetry and Strategies to aid in our reading and comprehension. We are also working very hard to complete "Wonder." Students have enjoyed learning about Allusions. We will finish this up on Monday.
