May is Mental Health Awareness Month - CHS believes in building our understanding of mental illness, increasing access to treatment and ensuring those who are struggling that they are not alone. Click here for more information.
Important Notes from the Nurse - Please submit camp & working paper medical verification requests to the nurse before June 15, even if the student does not yet have a job yet, Nurse Ahern can certify the medical portion of the document. Please pick up all medications and or medical supplies in the health office before June 22. Lastly, any seniors who want their vaccine records please email Ms. Ahern before the last day of school.
May COVID-19 Awareness Form - Please complete this form for each CHS Student in your household: COVID-19 Awareness Sign-Off for Students
COVID 19 Dashboard - Click here for the data that reflects the number of positive COVID-19 cases, including students and staff, reported to the District during the time frame indicated. This data will be updated by 4 pm daily.
COVID Reporting - As a reminder, there is a COVID reporting form to notify the district and your student's school of new positive cases. If you need to report a positive COVID case, please click here. Please also feel free to contact Nurse Ahern via mail at: ahernchr@cranfordschools.org. Oh the Places You'll Go - Please complete this form and upload a picture displaying your plans after graduation. This can include wearing your college gear, holding a banner/sign, your decorated room/house, or wearing a uniform for your place of employment, branch of the military, etc. Please make sure your post-graduation plans are clear in the picture and include your first and last name on the form. Pasta Night is Back - Let the Class of 2022 take care of your dinner Monday, May 9th! You can purchase your tickets at the door for $15. Your dinner includes a plate of pasta (with or without meatballs), salad, bread, a bottle of water and dessert! You can sit and enjoy your meal during our 5:30 or 7pm seatings or take it to-go all while supporting the Seniors!

Project Graduation Update:
Food Truck Event
Food, music, and fun tomorrow - Saturday, 5/7 in Nomahegan Park! Rain or shine, this event will take place from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm! You can buy wristbands at the event and they must be worn to enter (children 5 and under free). If you pre-ordered wristbands and have not received them, go to the main entrance of the park on Saturday and pick them up at the check-in table. **We are still looking for a few people to help at the check-in tables in the afternoon. Wall of Memories Photo Collection through May 15
We will be collecting printed photos for the Wall of Memories through May 15! Please note: photos will not be returned. Photo submission guidelines as follows:
- Each student needs to submit one (1) wallet-sized yearbook senior portrait photo or photo of themselves.
- In addition, each senior can submit up to twelve (12) photos of themselves with their friends that represent their memories of Pre-School, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle & High School, including Sports, Scouts, School Activities, Rec Activities, School Field Trips, etc.
- Groups can be of 2 or more people and should have only Cranford Seniors in the group (please no family photos).
- All photos should be 3x5 or 4x6 size and the senior’s name should be on the back of each photo.
- Place photos in a ziploc bag or an envelope, labeled with the Senior’s Name, and drop to: 5 Oneida Pl. or 475 Brookside Ct.
- The Wall of Memories will be displayed at the high school during the last weeks of school.
Keepsake Graduation Program
Every senior will receive this commemorative graduation program filled with congratulatory messages from family and friends! This is different from the yearbook ads. It is a paper booklet slightly larger than a playbill, measuring 6.25" wide x 9.5" high, and printed in black & white. This keepsake program is in addition to the graduation program provided by the school. Full page, half page, and quarter page ads are available. Graduation Lawn Signs
Time is running out to get your lawn sign! Signs are $38 and available for graduates in all grades (K, 2, 5, 8 and 12), at all schools. Order online from Cougar Headquarters here: https://bit.ly/PG22lawnsigns. You will be notified by Cougar Headquarters when your order arrives within 2-3 weeks. Deadline to order is June 1, but don't wait, order now!

Thank you for your support! All proceeds from the above fundraisers go towards Project Graduation for the Class of 2022. Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol-free graduation celebration for Cranford HS Seniors put on by a committee of parent volunteers in conjunction with the CHS PTSA. Since 1989, it has been held on the night of graduation as an organized, chaperoned alternative to student-run events which may involve drugs or alcohol.
