KIPP GCP Pride High School's bi-weekly electronic newsletter, "Pride High Times", is designed to allow for regular communication between the school, scholars, families and community to relay important school information and events.

Scholar will be invited to a lunch with the principal at Ruby Tuesday's on October 21, 2022.

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be printed and mailed home September 23. Scholars who have below a 70 in any course are encouraged to attend tutoring on Tuesdays. Teaches will be contacting the families of scholars who are currently not achieving mastery to arrange conferences.

Pride 2023 Immunization Requirements


Seniors, if you have not received your required state immunications and returned your medical/short records to Nurse Buffaloe, you are may be excluded from school beginning September 20, 2022. School exclusion impacts attendance which can inturn impact graduation. Scholars will not be able to return to school until the appropriate medial documentation has been submitted.

Immunizations are a North Carolina health requirement.

Families, please see the documentation below or contact the school to speak with Nurse Buffaloe regarding this stated mandated requirement.

Scholar Parking

Parking enforcement has began.

Scholars who drive to campus must have returned all parking permit/pass information to Ms. Spady.

Car without the appropriate parking permission will be ticketed. Scholars who drive to campus without the proper permissions will receive school consequences.

Scholars who need to go to their car, for any reason during the day, must first ask their teacher then report to the main office and exit after notifying Mrs. Williams.

Scholars who do not complete the required paperwork and/or abuse their parking privileges can have their privileges revoked.

KPHS 1st Annual Park & Paint Party

$30 fee= scholars painting their assigned parking space + pizza & drinks

$5 fee= pizza + drinks for scholars who are not painting their own assigned parking but would like to participate in the paint & park party

Our dress code policy is designed to align to our core values of Leadership, Excellence, Community, Integrity and Humility. Through our dress code policy, we will promote unity, community, pride within our school and ensure that students are safe, age appropriately dressed and minimize distractions to prioritize learning. Our dress code policy is designed to be more aligned with KIPP high schools around the country.
