Jaguar Tracks
October 6th
Dear JE families,
We love your children!! It has been such a wonderful week of learning and fun here at JE thanks to the people that get us out of bed in the morning, our Jaguars! Our students have been engaged in creative writing, tackling tough math problems, learning about the map of our state, country and world and impressing us every day with their curiosity and excitement for learning.
Here are a few quick notes:
- The grade 3-5 school store is open weekly for all students in grades 3-5. When students have a completed spot card, they should come to Door 5 by the library between 8:00-8:15.
- The Robotics Team at the Reading Memorial High School will be holding a fun and exciting event in the high school cafeteria on the 22nd of October called the Chain Reaction Event! At this event, all students are invited to build a Rube Goldberg machine piece and watch the assembly as all the parts are put together into one giant machine! We invite you all to watch the machine in action!!! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pnmHA_4mnbvSuxiJEsWuU_aDZilwQl5w/view Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you, Sincerely, Team 4761 The Robockets
Thank you all!

Veteran's Day Assembly News:
Pennies for Veterans
Be on the lookout for change around the house for our Pennies for Veterans collection! We are currently collecting pennies for our veterans and will continue throughout the school year. Our pennies will be given to the Veterans at The Northeast Outreach Center Inc. in Haverhill at our Annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 9th at 8:45. Please keep the pennies coming! And thank you for all those pennies collected so far!
Stars for Veterans!
We’d love you to honor a veteran in your life! Have your child ask a classroom teacher for a special star. Your child may make a voluntary donation of $1.00 to go towards the Northeast Outreach Center for veterans in Haverhill. Then, decorate the star with the name, rank and relationship to the honored veteran (you may even want to include a picture)! We will use these stars to decorate our hallways in preparation for our annual veterans day assembly. Please have your star back by Wednesday, November 1st!
