Navigating the Course Catalog
With fourteen providers and over 3,500 courses, we know that it may be a daunting task to try to find just the right course for your student. The course catalog on the GenNET Online Learning portal has filters and a search feature to help you find the courses you are looking for! Let’s step through the options available to you each time you look for a course from the course catalog page in the portal.
Course Type: by default all courses will be shown to you, but if you are specifically looking for courses taught by a course provider’s teacher, you can uncheck the “content only” check box. If you are looking for content only that your own teacher will use, you can uncheck the “teacher led” check box.
You can also use the Subject or Provider dropdown menus to further filter the course catalog.
Try out the Grade Range slider by dragging either end (the orange dots) to narrow down the grade ranges for the course(s) you are looking to find.
Be sure to note that you can change the number of entries that show on a page. Using the Show drop down, you can change the number from 10 (the default) up to 100 entries per page.
There is a simple Search box under the Grade Range slider. All fields in the catalog will be searched by anything you type in this box!
One last helpful tool is the catalog sorting buttons that are just to the right of each column header. The up and down arrows are each clickable to sort the data you are viewing in either ascending or descending order.

Look for us at MACUL!
We would love an opportunity to meet you in person at MACUL! We will be in the Genesee Intermediate School District booth (#136) where we will showcase the GenNET Online Portal. We will have two very cool prizes that will be available as part of a drawing - a Google Nest Mini, and an Echo Show bundled with a Ring Video Doorbell - courtesy of Accelerate Education! Kim Shurig from Accelerate will also be available at our booth to help answer questions about all of the offerings available to you from Accelerate. There are sure to be other providers with us or nearby. Let us help you navigate your virtual learning questions and needs!
