Wonder Book Discussion Held
The Book Hoggers met on November 30 to discuss the book Wonder by R. J. Palacio. Students Lynda Grimaldo and Priscilla Briones led the discussion which stressed the importance of acceptance and kindness towards others. Students also had fun playing a book trivia Jeopardy style game. This award winning novel gained even more popularity after its movie release in November of 2017.
Leave a Little Bit of Kindness Everywhere You Go
After our book discussion, students had a chance to paint and write a positive message on some rocks which were then taken to be placed out in our community, in hopes of uplifting anyone who found them. Click here to see them: Kindness Rocks!
