CONGRATULATIONS 2023-2024 STUDENT GOVERNMENT OFFICERS
Officer induction ceremony for Student Government and NJHS officers are scheduled for Monday, May 15th, during morning prayer and flag.
PLEASE READ: GRADUATION DAY EARLY OUT NOTICE
On Friday May 26 PK and Kinder will have graduations during the school day. If your family plans on having an older sibling from grades 1-7 attend either graduation, please keep your child at home with you, and do not send them to school for an early out. Your older child will have an excused absence. With 70 graduates and even more siblings, the school cannot accommodate early outs for that volume of sibling students. It’s disruptive to the classes and overwhelming for the office. Thank you for your understanding.

Yearbooks will be distributed Tuesday, May 23rd. If you did not order a yearbook and would still like one, they will be sold on a first come-first serve basis on Wednesday, May 24th for $65. Parents will need to come to the office to purchase one. *No Reservations

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
SUMMER PROJECTS ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Parents,
Last year our school was able to offer a summer school program for students on campus for three weeks in June. This summer we cannot offer summer school at St. Viator. Our school is faced with addressing two capital improvement projects identified in the winter/spring of this school year. Our gym is in need of a new HVAC system, after 60 years of service it is breaking down. Our students need cool air in the fall and spring and heat in the winter. This HVAC replacement must be addressed in the summer of 2023.
Additionally, some of our copper piping is giving out after 60 years of service. We need to replace copper pipes throughout much of the campus on the courtyard side in the summer of 2023. Our other summer improvement projects include painting the gym/cafeteria and updating furniture throughout the school. We plan to have all work completed by the fall 2023 start date of August 14, 2023. Thank you for your understanding as we work to continue our responsible stewardship of our St. Viator campus.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kiss
