Returning Events
Park View Families:
As this year has progressed, we have been able to bring back some of our events. I am thrilled to announce that we will be having our "Around The World" Night (formerly known as Heritage Night) in person. Around The World Night is an ethnicity celebration that involves food, posters and sometimes traditional clothing. Families can sign up for a table or just come to enjoy and learn about the other cultures that make up our PV community. This event will take place on Friday, April 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Park View gym. For more information about "Around The World" night, access the PTA Facebook page, read the PTA email messages, and watch this 1 minute video.
Spring Open House is a time families can visit their child(ren)'s classroom(s), enjoy artwork from each grade level, and visit the Spring Scholastic Book Fair; which raises money for our classroom libraries. This event will also take place in person on Thursday, April 21st. The book fair opens at 5:45 pm and closes at 7:15 pm. The Open House begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm. Please note the slight differences in the times.
We hope to see our PV families stop by to enjoy the student artwork, see your child(ren)'s classroom(s) and shop at the book fair.
Student Council Recycling Club
Park View’s Student Council and Recycling Team is dedicating the month of March to spread awareness about the right way to recycle at school and at home. Recycling is important to our environment and community in many ways. It helps save trees, save the animals as well the oceans. If we recycle, we decrease the amount of trash worldwide. Please see the attached flyer about what you can and can’t recycle at home. Help support our environment and community by recycling!

Spring Safety Reminders
- Students should not arrive on school grounds before 8:20 am unless accompanied by an adult, or are a 5th grade safety patrol; as campus supervision begins at 8:20 am.
- Students must leave the school campus immediately after school ends, unless accompanied by an adult, as our campus closes at 3:30 pm and there is no supervision.
- If a parent/family member brings a dog to school grounds they must be leashed and in the North field, the West parkway/easement between the sidewalk and street, or the East on the pond pathway. Remind your children they should only approach their own dog.
This is all outlined in our Park View Student Handbook that you review and sign at the beginning of each school year. Please consult that booklet for our safely procedures and other important information. Thank You!!
