Parents! Teachers! Students! Continue your READING Resolution!
NEXT PRIZE DRAWING IS MAY 17!
The New Providence Elementary School Learning Commons Team wanted to encourage you and your family to make a READING RESOLUTION this year! Did you know that reading aloud together, as a family, is beneficial for ALL members of your family? Many of our younger students hear a bedtime story each night before bed, but the older our students get, the less they hear these bedtime stories. No matter how old your child is, make a resolution to read aloud together before bed EVERY night!
How did it go?! We challenged you to read aloud together as a family for 101 Nights. Our challenge continues through May 13! Be on the lookout for information about Summer Reading Programs that will be going home soon! Included on this year's information is a pledge form for families to continue Roary's Reading Resolution over the summer! Pledge forms are due by May 16! We will have a prize drawing on May 17!

Help other children in need! During Book Fair, we will be accepting donations for All for Books! We will be using the money collected to purchase books for Happy Wheels! Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to children in the hospital each week with a decorated cart filled with books. Each child gets to pick out one book of their choice every week for the duration of their hospital stay. They get to keep the books and take them home!
