Saint Patricks day is celebrated on the 17 March because it is the death of the Irish saint Patrick. St Patrick's day was made in the early seventeenth century and is observed by the Catholic church and Anglican church. It is traditional for people to were a shamrock and green clothes. St Patricks day is celebrated all over the world.

People in Ireland celebrate St Patricks day by handing out traditional wine and beer. People dress up in Lots of green clothes. People do acrobatics down main roads and streets.
