COME TOGETHER IN PRAYER - SEPT. 25, 2016

PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12)

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Craig Feltheim is back in the hospital with kidney problems.

  • Kim O’Kelley is in rehab recovering from hip surgery.

  • Sandy Campbell is hospitalized with heart issues.

  • Protection for our military, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

PASTOR OF THE WEEK

CHURCH OF THE WEEK

  • Aspire Church www.aspiretucson.com

Prayer Requests: We are praying for partnering churches that will lift us up and walk alongside us in prayer and support. We pray for believers to join with us and help launch this new church.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH

Mike and Linda Buus with D.O.O.R. (Deaf Opportunity OutReach International) - Our mission is to bring God's Word and Christian Fellowship to the Deaf of the World.

Prayer Requests:

  • After six months of training in Kenya, pray for the Bulgaria and Russia Deaf Bible Translation Teams as they continue translating God's Word in their home country. This is a new model, and the challenges are uncertain.
  • Pray for many of our Deaf teams working in countries where the governments and unrest are putting their work and lives at risk, especially India, Russia, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
  • Pray for Linda as she works with the new D.O.O.R. team through the budget and audit process.
  • Pray for Mike and the continued success of the InJoy Thrift Stores, which will help support D.O.O.R.
