MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL, BRETT WILLE
Happy Friday Bearcat Families!
It was great to be back here at MHS this week. I’ve had 2 full days of being with students … I’ve learned more from them over the past 2 days than I have in all of my years in this profession. Our students have a lot to say and I’m so grateful to them for sharing their thoughts, ideas, and constructive feedback with me. Building a school for ALL students will only happen when student voices are loud and clear … the last 2 days were a great reminder of that.
As we head towards the holiday break, throughout next week my plan is to remain present and around the building, being available for our students and staff as we close out the 2021 portion of our school year. Our students have experienced a lot this week and, coming back Thursday, I’m so proud of them and the resilience that they have shown, both this week and since this pandemic began. My goal for all of next week is to connect, keep students calm and focused on learning, and head into the holiday break on a positive and successful note. Thank you again for your continued support of our efforts here at MHS … GO BEARCATS!
DO NOT MISS THIS STELLAR PRODUCTION FROM OUR MHS DRAMA CLUB

SO PROUD OF OUR BOLD BEARCATS!!!!!
Thank you, Spya McDonald for working hard academically and for being a positive role model to his peers and teachers! Your kindness and sense of humor brings joy to those around you.
Another thank you to Spya! After getting into an altercation with another student, instead of holding a grudge and keeping the problem going, he stepped up to the plate and made amends with that student!
Thank you, Layla Dapelo . You are awesome for stepping in and playing flute with Varsity choir!
Thank you Oscar Sandoval-Perez and Natalia Sanchez for welcoming a new student into 6th period and helping her to feel a part of the class and the Bearcat community.
Thank you, Kaden Musser. You acted as student ambassador to a new student in our class and did a fantastic job of making him feel welcomed
Thank you Daniel Mendoza and Makayla Devputhra for welcoming a new student into our class and helping them get situated.

*****ATTENTION SENIORS*****
As of Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, if you have not registered or placed an order for your cap and gown for graduation, you do need to do at least one of these by Dec. 31, 2021. Ordering before Winter Break (Dec 17th) will insure you don’t forget
Registering – This allows National Achiever (our cap and gown vendor) to know you have intentions of walking and buying a cap and gown. National Achiever will set one aside for you so you may purchase at a later date.
Link for Registering - https://hj-contact-card.herokuapp.com/
Ordering – This is the actual purchase of your cap and gown.
The link below is the direct link to your school’s order page.
There have been supply chain issues that we are facing in WA and National Achiever wants to make sure to get the cap and gowns ordered early for Monroe High School. There is no cost involved in registering for graduation. But, the information is necessary for them to get the correct number and sizes of gowns
