Yulee High School's Faculty Dresses for Black History Celebrations
Women in STEM
Students from West Nassau High School were able to join their teachers, Mrs. Braddock and Mrs. McNeill, at the Women Leaders STEM conference at the University of North Florida. The guest speaker was Emily Calandrelli, an aerospace engineer and host of FOX's Xploration Outer Space. A panel of female engineers from NASA, Johnson & Johnson, and Lockheed Martin led the discussion in which students were able to hear from women that had achieved their goals and have become leaders in their fields. They were even able to ask engineering students about the challenges and requirements of the engineering program at UNF. It was a fantastic learning experience for everyone!
