Description
Giant pandas are large, heavy set animals with white fur with black or brownish patches on their legs, shoulders. ears and around the eyes. Fully grown pandas are 4-5 feet from nose to rump. The giant panda lives in Chinese Mountain Preserves, and sub-alpine, spruce-fir bamboo forests in China. They den in small caves and between rock crevices.

About The Giant Panda
One way the Giant pandas is threatened is by the destruction of its habitat. Panda poaching and lack its food source is another reason is why it's endangered. Ways humans can help is creating a secluded reserve, stop destruction of habitats, and stop illegal panda poaching. Did you know that pandas carry their newborn cubs in their mouth and also spend 12 hrs a day eating, they are also omnivores.
