Together we can do so much!
August 13, 2021
I know that you have many questions about the year ahead...so do I! One thing that we've learned over the last year is that the rate at which things can change is astounding. I so appreciated your patience last year as we navigated new territory together and ask for the same this year. I will do my best to keep you updated on any and all new information I receive. Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have. If I don't know the answer, I will do my best to find it!
Our teaching lineup is as follows:
Preschool: Ms. Chmura
Kindergarten: Ms. Ahrensdorf
1st grade: Ms. Jillson
2nd grade: Ms. McMillan
3rd grade: Mrs. Taylor
4th grade: Ms. Shearer
5th grade: Ms. Norwood
6th grade: Ms. Ickes
Additionally we have Ms. Steward and Ms. Glick providing Special Education services, Ms. Jensen as our math interventionist, Ms. Martin back as our reading interventionist, and Ms. Vicky and Ms. Leann providing PT and OT services. Ms. Aiken, Ms. Fitzgerald, and Ms. Tyler will all be back teaching Art, Music, and PE. Ms. Banschback will be providing counseling support. Ms. Goodnow and Mrs. Socquet will continue as our Special Education liaison and Early Childhood Coordinator. Ms. Miller will be guiding us with Service Learning.
Ms. Heidi, Ms. Genie, Ms. Alice, Mrs. Burton, Mr. Nelson, Mrs. Tower, Ms. Mary and Mrs W-S are all returning as paraprofessionals to support everyone. Ms. Tina will be cooking our delicious meals and Nurse Donna will be making sure we're all staying healthy. Ms. White will be helping to keep me organized and Mr. Youmell will be keeping our building clean and in good working order.
We are still in the process of hiring an additional paraprofessional and a speech pathologist. We are also still looking for an after-school program director. Until we hire for that position, we will not be able to run before and after school care. As soon as I am able to have someone in that position, I will get the program up and running.
