Meet your presenter: Maryclare Heffernan!

Maryclare Heffernan, an educational consultant with more than 25 years experience in educational systems change, has worked with numerous districts and schools in creating dynamic and viable plans for school improvement. Her professional experience includes teaching, school administration, project management, facilitation, program design, implementation and planning for sustainability. Since 1997, Maryclare has been a key member of the NH Department of Education’s (NH DOE) Special Education Program Approval and Improvement Process’s Management Team. In that role she contributed to the development and implementation of the innovative monitoring and approval models utilized by the NH DOE, including the Special Education Case Study and Focused Monitoring Processes. Additional professional experiences include: NH Secondary Transition Project Director, Co-Director Statewide Standardization Project for Court Placed Children and Youth, and adjunct faculty member at Plymouth State University. Maryclare is a member of the NH Response to Intervention (RTI) Task Force and lead author of the RTI Interactive Guide and Strategic Plan.

Additionally as a founding member of Associates for School Change at SERESC she has facilitated the work of multiple school and district teams in the development of School and District in Need of Improvement and School Improvement Grant plans. Her passion for improved student learning has resulted in the development of consultation skills in managing complex change and support of system-wide redesign.

Cancellation should be made in writing. A full refund will be made for cancellations postmarked, or sent via email, 7 days before the event.

No refunds will be given for requests received after 7 days before the event, or for "no shows". We do accept substitution of another person at our conference. 24 hours of notification is appreciated.

All received registrations are subject to Cancellation/Refund policy. Cost of registration fee is still liable whether payment is paid or unpaid, if no notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the event.

If minimum requirement enrollment is not met prior to the early registration deadline, the event may be postponed or canceled.
