Great Annual Library Poetry Contest

Open to all Hemet High Students!
April is our favorite month. It includes National Poetry Month, National Library Week and School Library Month.
Which means, it’s time for our annual poetry contest!
Show us your best haiku, sonnet, or a little free verse.
This is your opportunity to be creative! Showcase your poetic talent!
The rules are simple:
1) Write an original Poem.
2) Submit a legible copy to the Library.
3) The topic this year is Nature.
Must be school appropriate, no more than 1 page in length,
any poetic format (haiku, sonnet, free verse, etc.).
That’s it!
Deadline
Deadline to submit your poem is Friday, April 15th
Prizes will be awarded the week of April 25th

*Check out any book between April 25th-April 29th, and return it on, or before May 13th to receive a entry slip for the drawing.
*Just fill out the entry form and place it the large box at the circulation desk.
