WEEK OF OCTOBER 2, 2023
Message from the Principal
Students & Parents,
Last week was a great one at GLOW! In addition to all of the teaching and learning and school activities that were happening during and after school, our 10th graders went on a College Visit to East Carolina, our middle school students heard speeches from their candidates for SGA President, and we rounded out our week with PBIS Celebrations and having our entire student body gather in the courtyard to celebrate those seniors who received college acceptance notifications throughout the month of September.
October promises to be another fun and busy month as we finish out Quarter 1, celebrate the International Day of the Girl, enjoy Fall Break, and anticipate Spirit Week and the Fall Festival at the end of October! There is much to learn and look forward to this month, and we are fortunate that we all get to do it together!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe
