Walt Disney, a man who never gave up
Walt Disney faced a lot of adversity. This is a way he faced adversity. During the early 1930's Walt Disney suffered a "heck of a breakdown". He was worried that his animated shorts wouldn't deliver serious profit. He was irritable and couldn't sleep. He was so overwhelmed that he couldn't contribute to story sessions and would easily start crying. His employees urged him to take a vacation, they planned a second honeymoon down the Mississippi river but because of a drought they had to come back. When they returned he celebrated his wedding anniversary with his wife Lillian only a few days before the opening of Disneyland in 1955. They traveled down the Rivers of America on the new Mark Twain steamboat, traveling on a steamboat had always been his dream. After returning he was back to his old self and started working on a ambitious project... the development of the full length animated feature Snow White and the Seven Dwafts. After all of the adversity he triumphed and the movie was a huge success
