Principal's Report
It is hard to believe that we have just 7 weeks left in the 2018-2019 school year! Everyone has grown so much--from the kindergartners preparing for 1st grade to our 5th graders heading off to middle school! We still have important work to do once we return from Spring Break so we want to be sure that we finish strong.
Special Olympics held on April 24
Athletes from Oakview will travel to Furman University for this year's Spring Games! Participating in track and field events, our students are looking forward to this fun and rewarding experience. Living by the Special Olympics motto--Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.--Oakview is well represented by our students.

The window for our state testing opens Wednesday, May 8th. 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will participate in both ELA and Math testing. 4th graders will take the science test while 5th graders take the social studies test. More information will come home soon regarding testing.
