Morning Dismissal

Please remember, all students riding in cars should be dropped off through the car line. If you need to walk your child in, please park in a parking spot and not in the grass or under the trees. Please do not walk your child through the car line. This hinders traffic and creates a potentially dangerous situation. After the first two weeks of school students are expected to walk to class by themselves. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our car line moving smoothly and providing a safe arrival for our students.

Art Teacher

Since the start of the school year, classes have been learning about and exhibiting behavior that "SOARs" (Safety, On Task, Attitude, Responsibility). The goal of SOAR is to encourage excellent behavior and citizenship throughout the day for all students. Students have the opportunity to earn tickets by demonstrating the four areas of SOAR during related arts, in the hallway, and in the cafeteria. When classes earn 10 tickets, they are exchanged for a cricket to hang outside of the classroom. At the end of each nine weeks, any class that earns 10 crickets is rewarded with a special treat. The homeroom from each grade level that has earned the most tickets receives an additional prize. These classes also receive a bronze, silver, or gold cricket to proudly display. SOAR Celebrations are scheduled at the end of each nine weeks, with our first celebration being held on October 29th.

Keep SOARing and earning those tickets!
