John
Mother is having a difficult time getting him to eat fruits and vegetables, and he does not exercise.
- Encourage John to try new foods
- Entice him with bright foods to make them more appealing
- Give him smaller portions
- Limit him to a certain amount of time to watch tv
- Find a way to help John exercise
- Breakfast: Cereal with a Fruit and some dairy product. (Your Choice)
- Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwich with low fat cheese and a cup of milk
- Dinner: Fish with a vegetable and a cup of juice that is sugar free
Thomas
Having trouble finding a way to diet and to find out what foods are needed.
- Choose fat-free or low fat milk, cheeses, and yogurt
- Cut back on sweets
- Eat whole grains to power up your body
- Eat the normal amount of vegetables and proteins to help your muscles grow
- Exercise daily
- Breakfast: Cereal with low fat milk, with fruits mixed in, and a cup of orange juice
- Lunch: A sandwich with low fat cheese and ham with some lettuce and a cup of water
- Dinner: A meat with a side of vegetables and a roll or biscuit and a cup of water or milk
Fred
Spends time locked up in his room playing video games and consumes a lot of junk food
- Try to encourage Fred to exercise 60 minutes a day
- Have family meals that consist of Fruits, Grains, Vegetables, Protein and Dairy
- Limit his consumption on junk foods, and encourage him to eat fruits instead
- Encourage Fred to join the family for dinner every night
- Breakfast: Bagel with cream cheese with a fruit on top and a cup of milk or juice
- Lunch: A salad with different types of vegetables and some chopped chicken or chicken strips with a soda with low caffeine and sugar
- Dinner: A burger with low fat meat (how ever he likes it), with low cut fries and a glass of water
