Food Distribution Services

Please see the information below as it pertains to the resources available to families in the Souderton Area School District community during the COVID-19 emergency. If you are in need of food, and are a current resident of this area, please know that your community is here to help provide for you and your family. If you are in the position to provide monetary support to any of the resources listed below, please do so. Donation information is listed with each organization.


Each of these resources are subject to change and are wholly contingent on the rules and regulations coming from the CDC, the County and State leadership. We will do our best to communicate those changes in a timely manner, your patience and understanding is appreciated. Save this link! Check back for changes.


It is imperative that each member of our community do our part. Please remember that if you don't have a need, and yet come, that leaves someone else without food who might need some.

Big Red Picnic Summer Food Program (Souderton Area School District)

Description: Begins Monday, June 21, 2021 and will end on Thursday, August 26, 2021. No meal pickup on July 5, 2021. Summer Food Service Program will offer free meal distribution for families with children 18 years and younger. These meals are funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.


Hours: Meals* can be picked up on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00AM-1:00PM.


Location: West Broad Elementary School, 342 West Broad St. Souderton, PA 18964


*Monday will include meals for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

*Thursday will include meals for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

E-Meal Program ~ Emmanuel Lutheran Church: (215) 723-7514

Description: FREE bagged meals will be distributed. Other food, supply and baby care items as available.


Hours: 10:30 AM -1:00 PM, 6 days a week Monday thru Saturday, CLOSED Sunday.

Fresh For All: 215-723-5430 Ext. 221 (Keystone Opportunity Center)

Fresh For All is a FREE produce distribution event held weekly in Souderton, PA.


WHAT: Receive 20-30 lbs of free produce! No ID, area of residence, or income verification required. (Basic household information may be collected to maintain program reporting, but there is no qualification for the program and participation does not effect other benefits.)


WHEN: Tuesdays, 12:30 to 1:30 pm every week – cancelled in dangerous weather


WHERE: Grace Bible Church, Main Street & Summit Ave, Souderton PA (across from the WAWA)


WHAT TO BRING: Please bring bags or boxes to carry your food.

This program is provided to our community through a partnership between Keystone Opportunity Center, Philabundance, Grace Bible Church, and the VNA Foundation of North Penn.

Description: Our food bank provides allergen-friendly food to over 25 food pantries and communities across Montgomery and Bucks Counties.

Keystone Opportunity Center: Food Pantry (215) 723-5430

Description: Social service agency providing food, housing and education. The Keystone Opportunity Center Food Pantry serves the residents of the Souderton Area School District. If you or someone you know is in need and would like to become a member of the Food Pantry, we ask that you bring proof of residency showing that you live in Souderton School District.


Hours & Client Pick Up information: For up to date hours, please call (215) 723-5430 or email contact@keystoneopp.org. Keystone’s food pantry clients can pick up their groceries in the parking lot of Keystone Opportunity Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and the first Thursday of each month from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Pantry clients coming for pickups should pull into Keystone’s parking lot and wait in their cars until a volunteer checks them in and lets them know when their grocery bags are ready and waiting on a designated table for pickup.


Keystone’s building will continue to remain closed to clients and donors.

Meals on Wheels ~ Generations of the IV: (215) 723-5841

Description: Available to eligible residents aged 60+. Clients in the North Penn and Indian Valley areas currently receive only one delivery per week on Monday. The delivery will include 5 frozen meals from the previous week’s menu, 4 shelf-stable meals, 1 cold meal, and additional fruits and snacks. If you need assistance with basic needs, please contact us at 215-723-5841 or email info@generationsofiv.org


Hours: Facility is currently CLOSED. delivery information above is current. Drive-through take-out meal program is temporarily suspended until further notice. Drive-through meal service is offered Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:45am-12:15pm. Reservations are required. Click here for more information.

Dating & Domestic Violence Support

Laurel House: (800) 642-3150

Description: Laurel House is dedicated to the vision of ending domestic violence in each life, home and community.


Laurel House advocates are still here 24/7 via our toll-free hotline (1-800-642-3150) for anyone wishing to talk about their relationship. These stressful times isolate survivors even further from safe friends/ family, but we are always there for support. Our crisis advocates (DART team) are able to help individuals file a Protection From Abuse Order. Our counseling department is still available and will be hosting phone or virtual counseling appointments during the shutdown. All services are free and confidential to anyone over the age of 14 (without parent/guardian consent)
