Ā tērā wiki ka whakarite mātou i tētahi tēpū hei tohu maumahara (ki roto i Te Atawhai o Te Aotūroa). Mā tātou ngā whānau e kawe mai i ngā whakaahua o rātou mā kua whetūrangitia. Ka noho ngā whakaahua ki te whare mā te wiki, ka whakahokia ki te kāinga a te Tāite.
Next we we will be remembering our loved ones as part of Matariki. Please send a whakaahua with your tamariki on Monday to put in the whare. They will remain at kura all week, and return home with tamariki on Thursday.
The whare will be open at our Mākete Matariki if you would like to gather inside together with your whānau at any part of the evening.

SchooI Board Parent Election 2022
NOMINATION ROUND
Our kura will be undertaking a parent election for six School Board vacancies. This process will start with the issuing of nomination papers to our whānau by Friday 15th July 2022.
We have employed Canterbury Education Services (CES) to undertake the election process on our behalf. This year with legislative change, nomination forms and full instructions on how to place your nomination into our own kura election website will be emailed. If we do not have an email address information will be posted instead.
Nomination papers will also be available at the tari. Kura will send those on to CES for processing upon receipt from candidates.
Nominations close on Wednesday 3rd August at 12pm. Election day is Wednesday 7th September.
We look forward to your participation in this process.
Police Vett Checks
The Education and Training Bill is about to change which will affect the way that you support at kura. This means that you will now need to be vetted before you can support with any haerenga or noho. Previously we would have this paperwork done and would allow for participation before records were returned to us.
We are encouraging all whānau to fill in a Police Vet Check so you can ensure that you are available to support should the need arise, whānau support is necessary to ensure that a kura haerenga meets ratios.
You can collect these from the tari who will also be happy to photocopy an ID that you will be required to attach.
LION KING
Mihi nui ki a FUSH, nā rātou te wā mātakitaki Kingi Raiona i tā koha! Ka haere te katoa o te kura ki Silky Otter Cinema, Wigram a te 28 o Hune.
