Welcome Back Panthers
Dear Families,
Welcome to Central Elementary! We are excited about starting the 2022-2023 school year. We hope that this year will be an exciting year for your child. The staff and I began this new school year with high expectations and great enthusiasm for a positive, productive year. We have been actively engaged in a variety of staff development sessions that are sure to result in unparalleled commitment and service to the students in our care. We have also been engaged in discussions, planning, and preparations to start the school year with procedures in place to create a safe environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
At Central, we are committed to engaging, equipping and empowering all scholars to achieve their unique potential. This year, Central has been selected to be a Performing Arts and Digital Media Academy. Our teachers will be focused on integrating the arts into our core curriculum and our 3rd graders will be learning to play the piano.
Returning families may notice new faces and routines upon return. Rest assured that our campus has a complete staff of dedicated and qualified teachers, support staff, and paraprofessionals who stand ready to strengthen your child’s ability to grow as a lifelong learner.
We are very proud of our diverse population and the contributions we each bring to the school. Our teachers are some of the very best in the state of Texas. We pride ourselves in the high standards we set for ourselves and for the quality of education we offer at Central. The bottom line for us is to ensure our classrooms are always good enough for our own children. You can trust that the staff here will go the extra degree to be sure your children are treated respectfully and fairly. We will treat your child the way we want our own children to be treated. Our students are always our first priority.
As the school year progresses, stay tuned for information regarding PTO, student clubs, programs, and various other campus activities. Together we can help our students reach their full potential.
We look forward to partnering with you in educating your child.
Respectfully,
Ayanna Parker
Principal
