Crazy Doc's rant and raves...
We will be working on report cards for the first quarter two weeks from today. It is flying by! Make sure to continue to reach out to the families and build those positive relationships, because we are all on the same team.
SafeSchools Required Training
From HR: “1st Deadline this Friday, September 27th -- Due are the Employee Handbook, Bullying, EPI Pen, Sexual Harassment, SPS Board Policies and SPS Leave Policies. Employees must complete these mandatory trainings each school year to be in compliance with district, state and/or federal laws. We plan to send out reports to leaders of those who haven’t completed the trainings- we appreciate your assistance to ensure 100% participation.”
Quick hits:
- As you start to put your calendar together for the year, please avoid field trips on Wednesday (Wings), Thursday, and Friday.
- Please keep all tardy passes and send them home quarterly with the report card envelopes.
Take a few minutes and make a positive phone call home to a couple of students each day. It means so much to students and their parents when they get a phone call home and they are not in trouble.
Teacher Spotlight
To Mrs. Earls for show- casing books for students to read with a friend to encourage reading. By Mrs. Earls making this small change and encouragement in the library, it creates a greater impact for our students on the importance and fundamentals of reading: enjoyment and community. Thank you!
Do you have a idea for a person in the spotlight? Please let me know.
