Howling Herald

February 24, 2023

Hello Wolf Pack,

What a cool week at Selkirk!

We tried something new with our conference purpose and process and our Wolf Pack community showed up to participate! It was great to see so the students' ownership of learning as they presented to their parents and to see so many parents and teachers connecting.

Today was the largest Career Fair to date. What an incredible event for our students! Some practiced CPR; others learned how to use a drywall drill and to mud a seam, and most climbed into an Army Styker (tank!) Students visited with credit unions, firemen, City of Liberty Lake employees, CVSD Superintendent Dr. John Parker, law enforcement, reps from the dental profession, medical professions, and the list goes on and on!

THANK YOU to each community volunteer and to the leadership students and staff who helped. The annual Selkirk Career Fair won't exist though without the organizational efforts of Mrs. Mott! Thank you!
