Bobcat Bulletin
Week of May 2nd
Principal Petrick Message
Next week we start State Testing season with our 5th and 6th grade classrooms. Mrs. Harris' 3/4 class will test the week of May 9th and our 3rd and 4th grade classrooms the following week of May 16th. If you are able, please try and avoid pulling students from school during testing as it will disrupt their process. Students who opt out will be working individually during testing time.
Next week expect to see students bring home a Bobcat Dash Fundraising packet. The Bobcat Dash is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Raised money goes to help support Math programming at FVES. The theme of this year's Dash is Race to Space. The Dash is happening on Tuesday May 17th.
Go Bobcats!

Click the sign up sheet to volunteer all day, or just a few hours. The classroom run start times are listed at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080c4ba4a82fa0fe3-bobcat

Farmington View Parents for Academic Excellence is seeking Grant Writer
FVPAE is seeking a Grant Writer!
The Math Program has an open board position for grant writing. No experience is necessary. This sub-committee lead should enjoy researching grant opportunities online (we have a good list started already) and comfortable filling out online applications. We have a lot of documentation on our Google Drive and previous grant applications as examples. This is a critical role for FVPAE because it has the potential to bring in thousands of dollars each year. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to sierrakoral@gmail.com for more information.
