Quote of the Week
"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning." --- Benjamin Franklin
Tool of the Week - Evernote
You may have heard of Evernote. If you need to get organized for 2015, this is your app. It literally works on everything! If you are out running around and you add something to your "To Do" list, it will show up on your computer when you get home. Evernote helps you remember everything across all devices you use. Stay organized, save your ideas and improve productivity. This App lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders and makes these notes completely searchable whether you are at home or on the go.

Teacher Spotlight - Cheri Froehling 1st grade teacher
Mrs. Froehling is putting her grant awarded ipads to good use. Froehling states, "We use the ipads and internet resources quite a bit."
Technology has made it easier than ever to connect your students with the outside world. Taking a virtual field trip or connecting with another classroom without leaving the confines of your classroom is an educational reality thanks to technology.
Froehling continues, "Currently we have a buddy class in Ketchican, Alaska with whom we share videos and letters. Next month we are going to Skype or Facetime them and share questions and answers about where each of us live. We will compare and contrast both places!"
