Desperate times call for desperate measures

During the harsh session of winter in 1609 a chose emerged due to starvation in Jamestown. 240 out of 300 colonist were lost there live but the after math is shocking. Antripologysts reveled through anlysist of 17th century of skeletons remains suggesting that the settlers practiced canablisim to survive. This event lasted for one year and by the beginning of 1610 there only 60 remaining out of 300.
